Living Room Not Square

Hi friends,

Need some tips and suggestions for a living room which is not square.

I live at the Bayshore condo.

I am thinking of doing up my living room. The colour is plain creme on the walls. The TV wall i intend to put Golden and creme wall paper.

Will velvet curtains look good?

Also sofa should be little classic one? or any simple brown-beige sofa would look good?

dining table would be a teak style accompanied by big mirror.

Kindly advice or provide tips..

also suggestions to buy sofa from?

It sounds nice enough. Color scheme seems to match nicely. Not a big fan of velvet curtains, I think thy're hot, heavy and get dusty and dirty easily; and they can't be machine washed.... but if YOU like it....power to you! Teak dining table is evergreen. And, I love the illusion of space that a large mirror gives. It works for me! But there's only one question that matters , "do you like it"?
