LamChuan and LamiTak.Jennings have a 2nd edition for 2010. If using glossy black, your selection for woodgrain laminate can also try to use glossy too.

Jaskel > Need your expert advice.,...which laminate company have the most woodgrain choices for "spa" kind of theme? I am considering to laminate my shoe cabinets and TV console by choosing two types of laminates for each but not sure what would be the result..TIA

Hafizah > Sorry ah I always hijack your reno blog here to ask question. I haven't get my key yet >>> end of next month....have to wait so long till i feel sian. A lot of things haven't finalised yet. Me and my husband still discussing about the theme and we are planning for family expansion else I wanna hack walls..look more spacious like yours..

cheers:) Emobebe

Try not to hijack others t-blog if can, if need advice, can always goes to my t-blog to ask me. :yamseng: emobebe, u can use LamChuan, EDL and LamiTak to chose the woodgrain that u like. Try to use the "same family" series of the wood laminate if u intent to use 2 laminates for both as both of the woodgrain are the same so its more smoothing to look at rather than become complicated and confusing. :yamseng:

jaskel, emobebe, sng >> eh no worries. i actually don't mind you guys using my thread. easier for me to click on the link cos it's bumped up! and more importantly i also get to take notes e.g. pencilled down the companies for laminates for my tv console :)

emobebe >> i hope you can manage to convince your husband. sure can one! i had to do a lot of convincing for my wife - i learnt for her it's easier if I show her pictures rather than tell her. she only approves if she sees other ppl doing it then she consider. you might want to google for apartment therapy and young house love. i use their blogs for inspiration. oh and renotalk la hahaha

abby >> it's ok. no kitchen island can always use something else to be your trademark. trust me the kitchen is not yet complete for me. i have plans for that area still

i know how much renotalk likes pictures so here are my newly installed blinds.

I also had issues with the parquet. so i got them to resand and revarnish for me.

1000002239.JPG

after enduring the dust and the smell, i happily walked in the room today after leaving it alone for 2 days. yet there are still rough spots on some sections of the parquet! so much for my house warming on the 1st. looks like after july would be a better bet. *sigh*

Gnee Hong is d a r n value for money right. and their selections are quite healthy too.

really hope i can find time to visit comfort designs though. seems like another promising one too.

purple color? always envy peeps who are daring in their colors.

for us, we're only daring to try to inject colors with the soft furnishings

Hi hafiizh, no news from u?

Need your advise on the name and color code of this purple color? thinking to put this color in my MBR.

Also, wana see the "inside" of your shoe Cabinet & wardrobe, can show pics?

Hi guys sorry been MIA - exam week and I've just got back from a short getaway to recharge. Ok back to business!

Hpoo >> got my doors from yontat, can google. Details are also in my blog.

Ccat >> the purple colour code you are envying is Nippon vinilex called purple angle 5045. Choice made by my wife. I'd have gone with darker (masculine) shades but what do I know? :)
