Or you specially request to use formica laminates? Cause my ID offer me laminates brand such as Jennings, EDL... Depend on what type or model of Formica laminate u chose. Decor metal is very expensive...in the range of $98-$638 w/o GST per piece. The rest is still the same range as Jennings and EDL. For 2mm Glossy laminate, solid colour core, custom graphics, then Formica is more expensive so if using that, u need to top up the different. So that left only quite a few options u can chose which is mostly wood grain, leather, patterns, rigato and pearlescent laminate. EDL, Jennings are consider not bad already as they are more modern laminate.

hafiizh 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2011 Ely >> thanks thanks, I think this period is the worst though. As we near completion, my bank account slowly bleeding and the house is so close to completion but yet so far. E.g. Still no bedroom doors yet! Waikwok >> lucky jaskel was here to answer your question cos I am not too familiar. The laminates for the kitchen are the 2mm glossy white laminate which is already included in the per foot run price they quoted. They are definitely a step up in quality and looks from the laminates used for my wardrobe and cabinetry. Then again, the prices are also a step up la! Jaskel >> tankiu, tankiu your blog also very eye catching with the LEDs!

As we near completion, my bank account slowly bleeding and the house is so close to completion but yet so far. E.g. Still no bedroom doors yet! I COMPLETELY understand. Coupled with the wedding and the home renovations, our bank accounts are not just bleeding - they're writhing in agony and oozing with pus mid-hemorrhage. Still, good to know another East-ender -Ely
waikwok 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2011 Hi, thanks jaskel for your reply. I'm thinking of using white kitchen glossy laminate for the kitchen, if formica can achieve the greatest glossy look as compared to other brand, I don't mind top up abit. I'm not sure the white laminate my contractor quote me is how many mm, but i know the brand is either jennings or EDL. =) Wow, still have speces like solid color core... custom graphics... first time heard about it =S Depend on what type or model of Formica laminate u chose. Whereas Formica they do have 1mm glossy laminate but 2mm glossy laminate will not be wavy as can see in my T-blog. As for solid core laminate, its actually like plastic, that mean the back is of the laminate is not wood backing unlike the rest of laminate. Of course price wise is more ex. Custom graphics laminate can be u give them a photo u want, they print it onto the laminate. There is also mirror laminate and whiteboard laminate, choice of laminate is sooooooo much. hafiizh 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2011 Cs, ww >>yeah searched high and low, talked to so many uncles in hardware shops, bought many pipe connectors that didn't work. So I thought I'd save others the trouble I went through. Glad I found that one uncle who understood my needs though.
january 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2011 Oh hello that washing machine looks familiar. I have a similar one with a small LCD screen which displays the remaining time of the load. I think it's a great machine! My clothes come up less crumpled than my previous top load (which is 20 yrs old btw). Sorry to hear about the trouble you went through with the tap adaptors... if only I had paid attention to your blog earlier I would have saved you a lot of trouble cuz I could have told you to get exactly what you needed. However, everything else seems to be going smoothly! When are you intending to move in?
