Led Track Spotlights

Recommended Posts

I'm am getting a set of track spotlights to highlight my feature wall.

The standard ones are halogen (MR16) powered and from experience, they are **** hot and totally energy inefficient. I do not want these factors from discouraging myself from switching on the spotlights as often as I wish.

So I'm looking for LED Track SpotLights. I'm looking for LED spotlight designed into the spotlight from ground up as I am not too keen on replacement LED MR16 bulbs to fit normal halogen spotlight fittings.

Any picture, links, prices and place to purchase is appreciated!

Thanks!

Got them from Lightcraft @ Jalan Sultan. Each light is 3W LED. They have larger sizes too.

The ones I have are not as bright as halogen, so you may want to get a larger size if you want something brighter.

Also, these LED tracklights are not dimmable.

Hope this helps.

hi! thanks for your suggestion and sample picture of your installation.

I have decided to just get the Philips 4w EnduraLED MR16 replacement for all my spot lights that I bought from lightings.com.

These stuff do not come cheap though...$45/piece.....bought 7 pieces in total for all the spot lights.

Hi these philips led bulbs are direct replacement for the halogen bulbs? Meaning it does not need any external transformer that we always see that comes with led lights?

And where to get these bulbs? Thanks!

Hey there. Let me know how the bulbs work after you've installed them. I still have some halogen lights in my place and would like to replace them with LED in the future.

I have made the effort to go JB to get a track LED lighting. Bought them at 3 for a 1m track for 165RMB. Loooks good too.

But, of course, not Philips LED...some Malaysia brand. But still works..put them in my toilet. And have been switching it on and off for the past week. So far so good...
