footprint,

Is that a mirror or a half glass at the kitchen wall? Im doing half glass for kitchen wall beside the dining area. Mine one is a L shape half glass (facing the bomb shelter and dining area). I am just wondering did you built half-glass all the way to the ceiling or just the middle portion? Just wondering how to counter those area with the beams if you construct glass all the way to the ceiling.

Just to ask, why is there a need for 2 sitcks to support for full length mirror in your MBR toilet?

Thanks. Love your T-Blog w lots of picture.

haa.. its already removed le.

coz earlier, need ensure the glue or something is harden before can remove. :)

mine is half-wall.. cant have it to ceiling as u cant hack the beams thus wont look nice.

can see clearer from this photo.

hi footprint,

Is it possible to take a photo of your kitchen from your living hall area so that I can view both the fixed panel and window at one go? Right now if i understood correctly, the photo was taken from dining area showing the window side. Your dining area have a mirror and I keep misunderstood that as fixed panel see thru. hehehehe...end up took me awhile to figure that out.

I need this becoz that day when I was discussing with my contractor, he told me the fixed glass panel must fixed all the way to the ceiling else that portion of the wall at the top which was left unhack will have no support.

But I was like....wouldn't that look very ugly with all the beams coming in the way?????

So I need to show him a photo to tell him. This can be done. Cheers :)

ykeng,

I try to take this evening ba.

Mine has frames, so definitely there's something to hold the glass pane up.

Actually, if you go several pages up, I do have a photo of windows, taken from kitchen and dining area.

oh yah...thanks leh saw it!

I felt your idea was quite superb. straight away after cooking ur dishes, no need to walk out from kitchen to the dining area, just pass it to someone who is standing outside through the window! Great stuff!

And between, I was also hunting for KDK AY11S as ceiling fan! couldnt find it anywhere now! so now going for the KDK 4 blade one which is available. Love the AY11S as I thought it is very compact size.

actually depends?

of course, the 4-blade or 5 blade one definitely better, and its 5-speed as compared to this only 3-speed. :P

true la..but coming from me who has to do the cleaning of ceiling fan, having less blade to clean is a PLUS point definitely :P

Thanks for all your reply. Shall lurk around here to see more photos :P

Hi Footprint,

Check with you did you make any plan for the optic fibre installation in 2012?

hihi ..

according to my ID, the people doing optics fiber when see there's false ceiling will make use of it to make it as hidden as possible ba.

:P

not sure if really true. haa..
