dizyweds 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) Furniture Shopping After our JB furniture shopping rendezvous, we only set sight on 2 particular set of sofas which are 2.7m and 2.8m respectively... Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of space and this length is definitely too long for us... hence in the end, we resorted to shopping for sofa back in our homeland once again... Went to Furniture Mall on Wednesday and when we went into Lorenzo, a set of sofa straight away caught the eye of the hubby and he immediately went to 'attach' his butt to that sofa... WOW! it was amazing.. the wife then 'attached' her butt too and fell in love right away.. Comfort was right! Looks was right too!! but price.... =.=" (not right!) But alas, both DiZy couldn't resist to temptation and finally bought that sofa, together with the dining set with a free coffee table... ~Furniture episode closed~ Edited February 26, 2011 by dizyweds

dizyweds 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Carpets The wife is pretty particular about the "feel" of the carpets we are gonna buy.. She needs it to be soft and smooth and really comfortable.. Thus, we've been searching for carpets that fits her requirements and at the same time doesn't burn a big hole in our pockets.. We've had experiences with shops telling us a 140 x 200mm carpet costs $600+++ and even more.. To us, that price is way over budget.. Ikea had some pretty nice carpets with ok "feel" but the colours were not really suitable for our theme.. Finally, the wife searched on the Internet and found this shop selling shaggy carpets.. No price was indicated on the website but we still went ahead to have a look today.. And.... We got 3 pieces of silky shaggy carpet! Wife was really happy with the feel.. Very soft and smooth.. The price was reasonable too.. They also had a wide variety of colours.. Some photos to share... One of the carpets we bought.. Also available in... They have different kinds of carpets for sale.. Can check them out if interested.. =) ---- Ling Carpets 38, Changi Road Singapore (419701) (Next to 7-Eleven, Geylang Serai)
