acevin 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2010 On the laying of laminated flooring towards the main entrance door, do your lay your laminated flooring all the way to the 'kerb' of your entrance, or leave a small gap distance unlaid from kerb?? Reason being, those town council cleaning vendor will high-jet pressure wash floor once a month... yesterday when I was back home, noticed water seep onto my laminated flooring... No point telling town council or the vendor to be careful, cause they sure will not... For those who have their laminated flooring laid all the wall to the entrance door kerb, do your face such problem and how do your prevent water from seeping in?? Thanks.. Experienced this as well, but so far, no problem with my floor. At the edge where the trim is, sealant was used to prevent water seepage, and my floor joints have clickguard protection.
