Ya, they have some interesting stuffs.... not as much as ikea but then some important stuff can get from there loh... go have a look lah...

Hi, Could you tell me where HSW is located? My wife tried to find it on her last trip to S'pore at the mall near Esplande but couldn't find it. Are we blind or just mis-informed as I found the address on their website.

Thanks

RMG

rmgthatsme, the mall near esplanade is Marina Square. They have homefix, not howards storage world. There are only 2 branches in sg for HSW. see the link : http://www.hsw.com.sg/contact.html

I think your wife went to wrong mall.... maybe she is going to harbourfront which is next to vivo city, not next to esplanade?

HACKING APPROVED

Another hurdle that has been overcome. I am so happy.... :dancingqueen:

Finally after pending for 2 weeks, the 2 walls for the master bedroom can be hacked!!! My plan of a big big bed + big big wardrobe can be fulfilled. Although i think, 15.5ft is not that big after all especially there is also a dressing table.

I also went to look at the tiling... will post the pic tonight. Starting to look very nice.... :good:

you don't try to tempt me again leh.... i already trying to give up the idea of buying that nice big thrashbin by simplehuman. :(

The 4 steps ladder is $189. If you buy the 3 steps, then its only $129.

You are welcome to join as well.... but i am not sure when will be a good time... will update again here.

:D

I gave up the idea of buying the simple human trashcan, not justifiable to pay $200 for a bin. :D

Looks like when my Reno done going to pop by hse to look around.

Hi May,

thanks for your answer. Can you give me the "idiots guide to finding HSW"? We are coming to S'pore soon and will try to find it once more. Could you explain which is the closest MRT and we'll try once more? We don't come back too often so aren't too familiar with the "newer" malls and which MRT to use. Thanks for your time (want to make sure I don't send my wife on a wild goose chase again :o )

Thanks RMG

OMG SO HAPPY FOR YOU! YAY! /victory stance

You're soooo going to enjoy your huge wardrobe! Haha!

Btw, I LURVE your bamboo rack you chose - it's gorgeous! I want one sliding one for my wardrobe lol! But I can't, cos I'm going to do sliding doors so I won't be bothered by the mess or coordination. I guess I'll have to pull a chair everytime I need to reach for something (I'm short - 156cm~) Look at Christina Aguilera's!

And Eva Longoria's:

Or Mariah Carey's!

Suddenly, our wardrobes seem small haha!

2) Ladder

I am not sure how often any of you have to use ladders to climb up and down. For me, i always needed a ladder to climb to do few things like change light bulbs, clean area that cannot be reached by climbing on chair or even to climb to take items from the top cabinets (even though my new flat do not have top cabinets)

Well, I would still need a ladder for cleaning. So when i went to buy my kitchen trolley, i saw this very sturdy ladder which will be good for me to do my cleaning, like my fans and fridge or changing of light bulbs.

3) Towel Rack

My theme for my bedroom is resort.... been looking for a bamboo towel racks like those they have at beach resorts..... don't know where to get but thanks to marshmallow, i found it!!!

Hi May,

Love your ladder, it looks very sturdy. I will be needing one to do the things that you are doing as well. Is that the only colour for the ladder? And love your towel rack too!

Congrats on your hacking approval, your plans are taking shape! :dancingqueen:
