agree.. hate to see all the ugly pipes in my toilet wish my toilet is like may.. HDB architect should learn how to design all the pipes layout, they should learn their mistakes from T-blog here

thanks... i like the mbr toilet too... when i saw the toilet do not have any big ugly pipes, it was immediate a plus point for me to get the flat. so, i don't really need to do any false walls or box up to conceal the ugly piping.... heheehe.....

yup, big master bedroom i will have if i get the approval to knock the wall. 8 panels so will be nice view... hehehehe

as you saw yesterday, my pipes are at a place that can't even be boxed up...

so other works already started today?

I thought all hdb will have the toilets back to back. that way, the piping will be easier and more logical. but after seeing yours, then i realised not all are like that.... so far, all the flats i have been, toilets are back to back. yours is indeed special.....

Special design of the toilets, windows in kitchen for drying of clothes, the design of the whole block, the lift landing where you are only one on that floor!!!

I thought all hdb will have the toilets back to back. that way, the piping will be easier and more logical. but after seeing yours, then i realised not all are like that.... so far, all the flats i have been, toilets are back to back. yours is indeed special.....

actually the toilet thing is not special... many houses got toilets on 2 different ends of the flat... like my sis' place (where i used to stay)

having 2 toilets side-by-side is definitely a smarter design. hmph.

but i must say the extra sliding window at my kitchen is good

maybe most of my friends are not living in jurong area... i really never seen any flats have their toilets at different ends and not linked.... hehehehe.... but your sis also not staying in jurong, right? i love my toilet though.

yea... i have seen these toilets-at-both-ends layout in Jurong, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Kallang, Tampines. i'm sure it's not related to the geographical location of the HDB
