RRK 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2010 I recently chose a flat to buy but will be receiving the keys on 1st March and then the current owners will stay for a month before moving out. So I can start renovation works from 1st April 2011. My rented flat is till mid June 2011. So my question is , when do I start looking for a contractor and get quotes? If they need to do surveys of the house first , it is only after the current owners move out right? That is April 1st. So will there be enough time for the work to be done ( hacking toilets, kitchen and re doing, painting and carpentry works ) by June 15th. Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
