terryteng87 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2010 HI all, I need to find out if i can remove the hobs and oven from my HDB flat. Does the valuation of the flat considers the availability of these items? Am i able to remove these items after i have gone through the first appointment? I was told by the valuation officer that anything that is fixed onto the walls and ceiling could not be removed, is the oven and the hobs considered "fixed" items as it is part of the kitchen cabinet? thanks

But you can always check with the new owner, if they don't need it or they are buying new set, then maybe they allow you to remove it.
therat 18 Report post Posted December 10, 2010 Anything that mount/fix on the wall , is consider "fixed" items. Eg. Toilet bowl, sink, basin, hob, hoob, oven, ceiling fan, light, window grill, window, room door, main door, metal gate, aircon, build-in cabinet, build-in wardrobe, build-in book shelf, build-in TV console, floor tile, wall tile, Exclude TV that mount on the wall. Unless your seller agree that you can remove it.
