I think i will save up to get this. it looks comfy and will make the balcony a nice place to hang out at. though i already have a lot of other "stupid" ideas for the balcony, like having a small water feature, a portable electric grill set, and some potted plants. 1 small outdoor set (1 small table + 2 chairs). I think my balcony will be overcrowded, since it's like not super big also. have to be a little more selective. For the chengal wood decking, I heard it might result in staining of the underlying tiles and also might need to perform maintenance for it (like applying sealant or some oil annually?) simplicitysuzy 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 reali.. my id didnt share me the negative sides of having chengai wood decking for my balcony lor.. like u, i have many 'great' ideas to do up my balcony.. but my balcony is around 3m by 2m.. after putting the swing chair inside, i tink 1/3 of the space is gone.. i tot of putting some small pots of flowers/plants to decorate the place, & perhaps another 1 outdoor set (1 table + 2 chairs), but i tink it would be ridiculous to make the balcony so 'crowded', no space at all.. so maybe we will re-consider the outdoor set, unless we can reali find those 'mini' size one... some outdoor sets we saw are so bulky.. simplicitysuzy 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) I like your toilet and sofa. Looks very nice.. How much you spend for your reno? Furniture? thanks... reno itself was abt 40-45k... furniture & electrical items cost us another 20-25k. we did not do the flooring for the living room.. so if we do, might be another 15k or more to the cost. the sofa is from ST LOUIS.. i prefer L-shape sofa, but not those super long or bulky with squarish arm-rest... cos is only 2 of us staying... so tis one is just nice for us..
