Eurypylus 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2010 Well, here's how the story goes... I was working overseas the past two month leaving my wifely and parents to "supervise" the reno work. Came home and was shock that my contractor use the PVC thingy on all the right angle corner. The cost of time, skill + $$$ to change it to either mosaic(rehack + difficulties to find matching colour) or cut 45 degree joint(rehack+lack of tools + skill). Is that any better solution to change it other than bo-bian and eat it?
Eurypylus 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 No reply... guess I'm qualify for one of the "ngeow" type ...>_<... Anyway the final solution was I personally saw off all the freaking PVC corner, and told my contractor to by hook or crook find a way to either cut 45 degree joint, or go for mosaic...any which will cost me a bomb of freaking 8-12k at their pleasure ...>_<... Still I don't understand, why everyone seems to accept the hardest material of ceramic to be mixed with cheapos PVC ...>_<...
lawry 3 Report post Posted November 28, 2010 Can you put a photo? It's hard to picture what it's like based on your description. Some of which might be some industry norm and some simply bad workmanship (which you should really pursue)
