Replacement Of Hdb Door Knob

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I need a replacement for my common room door knob.

Apparently it can't be used anymore and when I dismantle it, the inner part of the lock is crooked.

Went to a nearby shop that sells door knobs and the owner tells me that it's very hard to find a replacement,

and apparenly I can only use back the same kind of door knob! :(

I attached a few pictures to show y'all.

Anyone knows where to get a replacement or any lobang to get maybe a handyman to fix it?

Why the shop tell you cannot replace? Look for the same or similiar design, get a screwdriver and you are set. I just replace all my door locks as my seller pass me keys that don't work or jammed up the locks. Kekekeek!!!

** Why u buy the lock, it show come with an instructions sheet.

she tells me that my lock cannot be replaced by other kinda locks (which i don't know if it's true), as in i need to buy the exactly same type

coz she said "the hole of the door is there already you need to buy the same one"

I've been eyeing other lokcs as well similar design ones..scarly cannot fit then i :bangwall: kekeke

U have to visit hardware stores that sell all kinds of locksets. They should be able to advise u.

Otherwise, u might want to contact ur door installers (reno contractor/ ID) for advice.
