wow the house is so nice!!! but why help???

To be fair to owner and other potential home buyer & agent, I won't disclose the reasons for now.

Here again more pictures.....

The Impressive Main Entrance with Digital Lock c/w finger print recognition features.

Such a beautiful house which is designed personally by the male owner who is a Principal of a renowned Design House, whose clientele are retailers including the international furniture store and established international mobile giant!! He travels frequently to these customers to provide design consultancy for their flag ship overseas stores.

He spent over $60K on the renovation alone, and this amount is COST only, no mark up! So, my sister offered $60K COV, which is as good as $0 COV.

I accompanied my sister and BIL to view 5 houses yesterday in Bukit Panjang, and most of them are asking min $30K to $45K, and needs major renovations!!

So, the house featured here is really really a very good buy! When my sister arranged with the agent & owner for my visit, I was stunned to see the designer house...and still Loving it!

But WHY I say Nah??

But WHY I say Nah??

yes... pretty cool place... A1 decor... as you have mentioned... and I think really can save on renov and just buy furniture and shift in...

why you say Nah ah?

I can only guess it's feng shui-related reasons... :P

Hi, Bro Sunny

I'm glad to see you here & happy to hear that you also find him to be responsive person.

I didn't know that he had officially left until I asked him few days ago. I know he has his own reasons for not announcing his resignation earlier. At least he is still taking care of my post-renovation as of today.

Even though his ex-boss treated him unprofessionally due to my project, my ID didn't ignore me & asked me not to worry about workmanship warranty as he is "still there for me". Really, only this word to describe his service - EXCELLENT! :)

hi mae, i havent even started reno from that time when i was sourcing around for someone for my current place and pm-ed you for donny's contact. ;) And after many many family discussions and the 4th failed BTO application attempt (we tried on & off since last year), we finally decided to get a bigger Resale place instead and we finally found someplace suitable but we have to sell off our current place first due to the new HDB rulings for loan.

dont be sad about your ID's situation cos things happen for a reason and like you also mentioned to me previously, finding a contractor/ ID itself is partly about fate, and till now he is still your hardworking ID giving you 200%! :D

We're all looking forward to seeing your place featured in the papers! :dancingqueen:

I'm also in the midst of negotiating with him. Hope he can give us a quote within our budget. :)

I also want to know!! It's a gorgeous home omgah! It's one of the very, very, very few homes I've seen that I won't change anything about.

Back to my post-reno discussion okay?

The contractor came to replace one piece of floor tile. I thought need to replace 2 pieces which is U-shape, but the tiler told me is the other piece with n-shape instead. Ok lor...they are experienced tiler & accept his reasoning.

Now, the guy also touch up the dirty groutings for the living room again :)

Really very messy when tiler cut & take out the tile.

The other tiler is at downstairs doing the spalling concrete at kitchen ceiling.

The photographs of WIP last Saturday.

Cutting the piece of rejected tile which warped outward:

The mess....

For the first time, grant access to the 'Restricted room' of youngest son to touch up the groutings!

grq5_582_uc4it.jpg

....and they touch up groutings of whole house again!!

continued from above (post-reno)

Living room..

grq5_8af_uc4it.jpg

Until the tiler BOSS also came in the afternoon to see because he can't believe his 2 men need to take so much time at my place!

grq5_df9_uc4it.jpg

The groutings of this grey wall tiles had many different tones after chemical wash - grey, black & white. So, I asked the tiler to redo the whole wall.

grq5_5f1_uc4it.jpg

The tiler Ah Lim has to scrap off the old groutings before filling them.

grq5_f4d_uc4it.jpg

...including the pillar which white groutings were not filled to the fullest!

grq5_0a9_uc4it.jpg

Then, the tiler brought the wrong color powder for the beige colour flooring...I cannot accept and the beige flooring is still left undone. Supposed to come back today to complete it, but I text the tiler to return tomorrow because the Wall paper for my eldest son has arrived and they will come to install tomorrow. So, I might as well take half day leave tomorrow to supervise both.

So....I am fussy fussy fussy?? I know you will say that to Me. :bleah:
