Extreme Makeover @ Pandan Gardens

Recommended Posts

Yes, Yes, it is confirmed on Sunday, 10th April 2011. Make it at 5:00pm so we can chit-chat, look-see look-see, then I treat all to dinner ard 6pm at zhi-char stall at the coffee shop. By the time we finished dinner, it is not too late for May to go back her place, or she can shop at IMM or ViVo City.

Csingeu,

You have been to my place. If you are unable to join us, then after my place, the next gathering will be at your place when your nest is ready, or May's place. Hahaha

That's good timing for me. We meet around 2pm? Hope sister Marshy & Mr & Mrs Kobekala can make it.

BaZi is 8 characters aka 4 pillars of Destiny...using your Year, month, date & hour of birth, to derive the prediction in terms of wealth, health, career, relationship matters. It is read in conjunction with luck cycle & annual pillar.

can you help me read my bazi? :P

So co-incident.....I just read your recent posts on your reno start date & flipped thru your BaZi chart.

I was already lying on my bed, but just couldn't sleep. I was about to share the severity on clashes of heavenly stem & earthy branches.

I will only disclose to you if you asked me....it is the basic code of ethics...

You can PM me....

ok. We confirm gathering at 2pm.

Luck cycle comes in block of every 10 years period, whereas annual pillar is the yearly influence. This year, it is the Xin Metal Rabbit year...

We examine whether this year is going to be favourable for you, or will it going to be challenging?

Tap Mixers

I was posting a comment on a forumer blog on selection of tap mixers.

Here is my experience....

The tap mixer installed in my MBR toilet.

Water flow is like rain-shower, slow and water saving....

For the Wash Basin:

For shower:

The taps installed in common bathroom:

For the Wash Basin: water flow is too powerful...waste waste waste water! I have to install the aerator water saving feature at tap nozzle... :~

For the shower: Still alright as it won't take donkey years to fill up a pail of water for washing.... zz

Tap Mixers - continued

The kitchen sink: Water flow is still acceptable....unlike the one installed at common bathroom which is like mini Tsunami.

May be due to high water pressure as we are on lower floor.

wow your taps are so cool....really confusing....for rain showers, definitely hard to save water right???

Hi, joyousonline

Thank you for visiting my blog....I have been to yours :D

For Rain showers, it is still alright because you are 'hands-free' when showering...and the water flow normally is not that fast & gushing like tsunami! hahaha

Hi Mae,

I love your taps too! They go very well with your sinks! Have no idea what kind of flow my taps would have since I didn't test - do you usually test before buying, or do the salespeople tell you what kind of flow? It never occured to us - guess it's going to be another surprise!

It is a daily bible of my 2-month long extreme makeover reno journey......some forumers told me they take days to finish reading all pages...and some with tears after reading my family background. Some even PM to give me their respect & encouragement :paint::);)

Your layout? Fantastic Gen 2 EM, and I love it especially the big balcony! If I had a chance to buy another HDB flat, I will definitely aim for Gen 2 EM, or at least one with big balcony!

You have read in my blog that I am a super difficult customer!!

Are you the fussy & 'picky' type like me?

Hi, Ely

Thank you for stopping by....I saw your blog and admire all the sharp pictures and your unit with spacious layout!

I really didn't pay any attention when I bought those accessories, as long as they didn't burn my pocket! Everything rely on that hardworking ID who brought me to the shop along Balestier Road. It was the sales lady who recommended all the items, and I only answered her one question - is the water pressure high? :P

Here is the answer to queries on the Gymbar which forumers (4 similar queries so far) have PM to ask when they saw in the bedroom picture of my 2nd son.

grq5_ef8_uc4it.jpg

My second son bought that gymbar at World of Sports during CNY Sales at discounted price $21. Normal Price is $35.

It can take up to 65 kgs weight. If exceeds this weight, have to put screw to secure the sides on door frames.

Hope this helps.
