Extreme Makeover @ Pandan Gardens

Recommended Posts

I am ok already.... Just weekend was a bit wasted sitting in my nice toilet. Haha....

He better bring more loh.... For both of us and the rest that were waiting to meet him.

I hope bro Kobelala can invite us over to his place in June or early July. I am going to join the group of friends from the International Feng Shui Association to XinJiang, they called it the "Silk Road", where all the stans stans locations are.

Thereafter, I'm closing this blog here. 

This is a tour for people who hav seen the world but not this itinerary called the Silk Road. We will be travelling from one end of China (BJS) to the other next to Pakistan / Kazakstan ...that's where all the 'stans' cities are around there.

I am just excited as I have not been to these places, far away from the bustling cities.

mae, i am going to ask for your suggestion because i think i rem you like to cook.

Which will be better for cooking. Induction or gas hobs? Will induction hobs get scratched easily? Can they heat up the food quickly?

thank you for sharing, as always.

A sales person told me that inductionand gas cooking about the same. Only it takes a little longer for induction to heat up. Also the running cost for electricity for induction is very high.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I think Mae has said many many times, she is not a good cook and she seldom cooks. Her kitchen is for show only.

Bro Kobelala

Following all the 'pang sai' topics in your and my post, I finally remembered your above request and took some pictures of my children's 'pang sai' place while I removed the junks for mini spring cleaning last week.

The Service Balcony - left and right view.

This is the left side of the service balcony where I placed the washer and laundry hanger.

On the right are the Common bathroom and toilet. I didn't want to combine them into one because I have 3 children using these facilities. So, we have separate shower and 'pang sai' area as original layout.

The rubbish chute is atthe corner. facing the 'pang sai' toilet. Hmmmm...quite good layout planning in the late 1970s.

:sport-smiley-004::sport-smiley-004: very nice Sis.... really like the individual "Pang Sai" room and Bathroom :sport-smiley-004: your laundry hanger looks like a high tech machine :good:

Sis May

You are right. I am not a good cook & that's why I don't cook

But you might be surprised that I do like cooking and always dream of whipping up a delicious dish for my children but definitely not cleaning & washing up the utensils after cooking which I hate most!

Hi, XTR

Nice to see you here again!

If I have another choice, I probably choose induction hob but portable type, so to save the counter top with more working space. Our sister Marshy can share her experience with you.

Sister Marshy

Your potable hob is very easy to use right?
