Extreme Makeover @ Pandan Gardens

Hi Sis Mae!

Some help on behalf of a fellow JS-er.. :P

Also I curious la.

If there's edges (corner of another hdb) pointing towards house, what can be done to alleviate it?

Other than having curtains there to 挡 the 杀气?

I am keen to know this as well. Is the curtain especially the night curtain a remedy to alleviate the "sha qi" from hdb edge pointing? may be sis mae can enlighten us...thanks thanks

Hi, Sister footprint

Like you said, curtains is still the only choice to block the view, but I know some home owners do not like to keep curtains drawn up all the time. I am ONE of them, I only draw the curtain down at night when I sleep. :P

Ofcourse, there are some fsm who will recommend the hanging of BaGua with mirror type, to reflect the Sha Qi aiming at you. You can find this kind of BaGua mirror from shops selling Feng Shui ornaments in China town.

Further, the energy from the pointed object is "Fire" element. If there is a kitchen in NW sector of the house, it will be detrimental!! Those who have some knowledge in feng shui will understand that kitchen located in NW sector of the house is "Fire burning the Heaven Gate". In the house BaGua, the NW is Qian, of Metal Element. Kitchen has stove, Fire, which is also burning the sector of NW (Metal). Now, the external "Fire" is coming into contact with "Metal" in that area, so this kind of FengShui formation in the Kitchen is bad.

See below example for such of house layout with kitchen in NW sector.

Hello, Sis yumiko

I have just replied in the above post.

As to what else can be done to alleviate, I would like to know which sector of the house is affected by the pointed arrow.

There is still a cure to minimise the effect by using the method of Harmonising the 5 elements.

For example, if the arrow is pointing at your bedroom in NE sector of the house. NE sector belongs to Earth element (Gen Gua), and "Fire" will produce "Earth". Although it is a 'bad' fire Qi, but it still can produce Earth by cycle of birth.

But, what if there is combined flying stars 2 and 5 (earth elements)? Then, the result is BAD! If this sector already has 2 and 5 stars, you might have already cure the bad energy by placing lots of metal objects to weaken the Earth energy.

Feng shui is like onions with many layers to analyse. So, without knowing the floor plan & layout of the house, unable to tell how Bad can the poison arrow affects the dwellers.

Bro, only 3 drawers should not be expensive if your wife learnt some Deh power from Maydream1. If Maydream1 can 'Deh' for 6 free runners, who knows she might be able to get 3 complete blum drawers FOC? :dribble:

By the way, we hope to meet your wife on 21-May. Is she coming along to May's place?

The crown for 'Deh Queen' in this forum goes to her already!! :sport-smiley-004:

Then kobelala wife can be deh queen. I sure cannot fight with her if she get complete Blum system. Haha....

Hello, bro

Since I have used your floor plan as a case study, let me offer my FOC humble help to lessen the impact of "fire burning the heaven gate". There is still a way out in every situation .....and I saw from the google map you sent me that your block behind does not have such kind of Sha Qi, which is good.

Other than the kitchen in NW sector, the overall layout of house is well formed, no missing corner at ALL. :sport-smiley-004: No Worry!!!

By the way, I still need the exact measurements from you. See message in my email.

I had to locate my stove to the SW sector of the kitchen. Currently it is in the East. Bad part is at the SW sector, the whole area is a window, so basically I have no hood.

Seems like you know how to demarcate your house into sectors?

I also don't have a hood as my kitchen is big & I don't cook at home.

My FSM uses the Joey Yap software that demarcates all sectors of the house.

Hi all,

We had chosen the same ID as Sis Mae. No regrets so far. Below is the link to our blog.

Hi, Bro

I'm happy for you & finally saw your own reno t-blog. :).

This shows you are lucky that Donny is your ID and he is the one who will manage your reno from now till handover to you! You only deal with him from design to project management.

By the way, the 3D renderings are very nice & color well coordinated, making all rooms look bright & have a very comfortable feeling. Good feng shui!!
