I finally can find a 'decent' wall for the DIY clock which was bought online sometimes ago!!

The Living room with the new wall clock:

View of kitchen foyer from another angle, standing in the service yard. Kudos to my ID and FSM for creating the tempered glass wall which allows light to stream into the living room. Otherwise, the living room is really dark & yin!

For those who are new and have not read my post from the beginning, my fsm deemed that my house should be bright & very Yang as I am the sole bread winner of the family! So, when I converted part of the living room into my son's bedroom, the partitioned wall comes with glass piece to allow lights to come in.

You can maintain so clean everyday?? Salute!

I am a clean freak! I can't stand messy & dirty! I also can't stand dark room & windows are closed!

When I return home, the first thing is asking my children "Why never open the windows huh??, Why is this thing here??"

However, when I sleep, my bedroom must be very quiet & dark!

Your door has no grille, so how? Keep it close 24 hours a day? For me, my living room is so near to the main door and I leave it open until I am about to go to bed and zz

Mae, solid lahyour place. Very nicely done. Kitchen also big. Envious. Hardly any space in my kitchen so the dream of open concept with island is over.

Understand now. So far, I have only shown the laundry hanger & mirror. Let me retake some pictures of the service balcony and post up here.

Hello, Sisters here

Glad to see you here again!

Not sure where Sis footprint got hers, but I bought it from this website here:

http://s.dealextreme.com/search/diy+wall+clock

Price is as shown, USD11.22, including free delivery. I received the parcel within one week from order.

It is very easy to install:

1) Take out the package, punch out the numbers

2) Then, I use 3M double sided tape, glue the round centre mechanism & stick it on the glass (after cleaning it). Some people drill a hole and hang the round disc, but I dont want to damage the wall and the glass wall is a perfect place for the DIY clock.

3) As for the numbers & dots, just follow your heart & design it.

Hi, Bro

Thank you for your compliment! :)

Nice to see you back to my blog and I can finally see your very own abode by the 'longgang'. :)

 My place is also near the longgang, but this one is wider & bigger which had drowned a few people! :jawdrop:

I have seen a blog somewhere with the same layout as your apartment with the narrow kitchen in the centre of the house. That owner hacked away the wall of kitchen & have an open concept. That owner also did some modification to one of the bedrooms.

Hey ugene,

Welcome! You can post your questions here. ;)

This question surface to me when i saw ur audit for your sister floorplan. It seems really scary and frigtening.

I have been avoiding a feng shui audit coz i believe the lesser i know the better it is so that i will not have any worry about the design and wat will happen in the future.

On the other hand, i am so tempted to see what this house or layout would bring to me or affecting me but i am afraid to see or hear the hard truth le.. What should i do?

Hi, ugene

People say Ignorance is Bliss! But I say "To know is Better' because you can at least know what to benefit the Good sector & avoid the less favourable ones.

At a glance, no major problem with your floor plan as it is quite well formed, except I need to know which sector where 2 toilets & service balcony are located (i.e. the top right corner of your floor plan). If that happens to be a sector with vibrant Qi, then you won't benefit it. No fear though!

As your place is at Boon Keng, and I will be visiting our forumer Maydream1's place on 21-May, perhaps I can pop by your place to see what I can help to alleviate your fear. In the meantime, I will pm you my contact detail and we can discuss further offline.
