Extreme Makeover @ Pandan Gardens

Recommended Posts

Although my ID had left the firm, he still care to follow up with rectifications. I could guess his resignation from the tell-tale sign of his messages when I alerted him about the bubbling & cracked wall plastering: "Had asked Mr Lee to arrange e plasterer to do touch up. He'd arrange, had gave him your no.".

He texted me again yesterday to inform me "Just talk to him over e phone he said he'll contact you once e plaster men arranged." :)

Usually, my ID is taking care of all my demands and will simply reply "OK, Will do." However, I can sense something not right when I received his above messages. From the above 'strange' arrangement, I called him last evening and he confirmed that he left officially on 1-April. Nevertheless, he still bother to 'entertain' me and he called the PM to arrange & keep me updated. :):good:

Now, I can only wish him all the best in all his endeavours. :)

p.s. The tiler Ah Lim is returning on Saturday morning to replace few floor tiles (warped tiles rejected) and touch up the groutings in one of locked bedroom when the previous guy came last time to do up the lines in living room and rest of areas.

One can 'Deh' until Contractor run away, and another can 'moonlight' at Changi Village, looks like 'Deh'ing' is a 'good' skill to master

Hmmm, can "Deh" for anything, but can "Deh" for votes ? :o (sorry I election fever)

Wah, the RT forum changed? I must be slow in catching up.

Mae: So sad to hear your ID left the company under poor circumstances. A company's best asset is its HUMAN RESOURCES which is the employees themselves. They contribute to the growth through their efforts and sweat, bringing in the $$$ for the company too. Without them, the customers will never go to them. It's that company's BIG loss to lose a responsible ID.

Personally, through this forum, there is greater awareness and pictures tell a thousand words and many stories which reflects the ID/Contractor firm positively or negatively. This ID company has poor attitude sia. You should tell your ID to start a business of his own and you can even recommend customers to him including the forummers here who will also benefit from his customer service attitude/responsiveness.

I really can't hold this & have to say it out here!

I mentioned somewhere in this thread about my Neighbour downstair who complained to HDB about the yellow stains on their kitchen ceiling which surfaced during my renovation.

As tiler is returning tomorrow morning to touch up the groutings & replace the floor tiles, I know the contractor should also be doing the ceiling for my Neighbour.

I just went down to check with my Neighbour & was told she is aware of tomorrow's arrangement.

Kudos to my ID, even though he has left the firm, he still bother to arrange with my Neighbour & contractor to touch up the ceiling tomorrow when tiler returns tomorrow. :)

Hi, BunBun

The forum was down for past few days for major upgrade. All comments on these 2 days from 18-19 April were gone!!

I'm really feel sad that my ID has left the firm, but I believe he will be happy elsewhere, given his good work attitude, reliabilty & responsibilty.

I totally agreed with you that it is the ID firm BIG LOSS to lose a very responsible ID.

hi mae, sorry to hear that your ID resigned but it is their loss not to appreciate someone who is so hardworking and customer-orientated like him. Anyway, I am sure you will be able to assist him with his new customer base from all your praises & glowing reports of him. :sport-smiley-018:

Once again, love your extreme makeover and now you even get to appear in the papers :yamseng:

No wonder. The new outlook feels a little strange to me haha. I guess I'm too used to the old look. ^_^

If he does set up a new firm, I may consider him if I move house later in the future, provided he is still around hehe
