U should be grateful that ur wife cares about u & ur $$... :P

I agree with her that maids r humans & r inclined to temptations too! So the owners themselves have to take the initiative not to tempt her with their valuables.

Well done.

Frankly speaking, I found HDB's style of putting common tiolet/bathroom within kitchen is not so practical. May be this idea was originated due to cloth washing & drying concerns. Need access 2 doors to visit the tiolet. kitchen is where all cookings and eating are to be done and if possible, dining table should be there too, so to minimise movement of plate/bowls.....Now got service balcony...still need to access via kitchen, sigh.

I have a shared "study corner" with daughter of 2 long benche, with laptops/printer & all necessary stationary, files....all in wall-mounted cabinet. Most of the books landed in storeroom, sigh, too many, wall-mounted cabinet can't accomodate all. All my RC hobbies stuff landed in storeroom with all the tools.

Electric induction cookers is the trend and gas-stove likely will get phased out sooner or later. I saw most of new private show rooms come with this induction type, no more gas. Steamboats will be induction too, then all those "magnetic waves" come which radiate through all directions....

i got a safebox that is less than 150. Heavy, but small to put inside cupboard.

Don't worry too much about whether can open or not, as long as your $$$ is not inside there. Put $$$ somewhere

Actually some of the Singaporeans who have tibetan wealth vases would have such a mini safe box.

They would lock up the wealth vase inside the mini safe box which is placed high on the upper shelves inside the cupboard. Supposed to make the practisioner rich in all aspects (spiritually, financially, etc).

Mmmm... actually I don't have much to keep inside that safe also, maybe I'll also consider getting the mini version that u have. :)

I think the Tibetan wealth vase is a holy object, so I don't think u can anyhow put the 4D ticket inside.

And from what I read (not sure if I interpreted correctly) is that once the wealth vase is sealed (consecration or something like that), cannot open the vase!

So if u put ur 4D ticket inside, it's a lost cause already :P
