Recently engaged ** Pte Ltd to reno my resale unit.

Its website and presentation looks impressive ( its price as well), but when the reno starts a few days ago, I am quite disappointed.

Initially my ID told me the hacking would take 3 days, 2 days to hack, and 1 day to clear off the debris, so on the 4th day, which is today, i can be advised on the size of wc etc to be bought.

I talked to my ID like 2 days ago (after the start of hacking) to fix the meeting today.

But this morning, my when I called up my ID to confirm the meeting, I was told that the hacking was delayed because my kitchen wall is too thick. The hacking had to stop because the 3 day hacking permit from HDB has expired, my ID can only reapply on next monday, so hacking could only continue earliest next tuesday.

I was like... well, if you initially told me that hacking should be done in 2 days, when it is still not done on the 3rd, shouldn't you as the ID who is monitoring the progress do something (like reapplying permit) and update me (call me to inform change of meeting date) instead of waiting for me to contact you?

Give me stunt right at the of reno, I wonder what are all those awards listed on its website for.

Clearly awards are not everything, I am going to closely monitor the reno, a bit of sad case after paying all those money to the ID to look after the project for me...
