endlssorrow 1 Report post Posted November 9, 2010 Dear All, I have seen a few IDs & they quote me below.. can help check if below items are super exp or average market rate? 1) 9 ft full height feature wall with designer pieces = $1440 2) Design and fabricate full ht TV feature wall in laminate finish c/w glass/ mirror inserts = $1,200 (1800mmL/ 6ftL x full ht ) 3) Supply & install false ceiling at entrance,living hall and dining area (222 sqft) = 666 4) to supply & install L-37fit L-Box **** hall = $370 5) Design and fabricate low ht/ suspended TV console in laminate finish c/w drawers = $840 (1800mmL/ 6ftL x low ht) 6) Wiring and installation of x20 nos PLC lights/light holders = $760 7) suply and constrcut washing machine base & fridge base = $90*2= $180 8) tempered glass for kitchen 10mm full ht clear = $680 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Is mine over-charged!!?? erm....20 lights at $760 is a good price. assuming installation charge is $10/light, labour is oredi $200. $560 / 20 lighting points = $28/lighting point. tt's the lower end of a typical lighting point cost. $1.5k for 20 lights could be due to other reasons. maybe everything is concealed for yours? concealed wiring does increase the price by quite a lot. also mayb u're using designer switches?
