dazehead 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2011 Was so worried when the delivery people seems to have difficulties moving our sofa into the entertainment room, and one of them actually told me not possible la cannot fit.. My heart really sank when he told me that..<img src="http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j462/BlurRhino/DSC01082.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />But luckily the lead delivery man manage to solve the problem by removing the legs first and fit back when the sofa is in.. <img src="http://www.renotalk.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />So the sofa we love at first sight is safely in our entertainment room now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> <img src="http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j462/BlurRhino/DSC01109.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />hi there. my wife and i fell in love with the sofa that you use for ur entertainment room when we saw it at the shop the other day! u said love at first sight, we too heh.wondering, whats the difference between your main sofa in living room and this one? we're buying this one as our main sofa instead.also, just to check with you, you mentioned yours is package +2K for additional sofa. This 2K refers to the main sofa or your mango movie sofa? I think you answered a question that this mango sofa is part of the 6K package?lastly, although still a bit early, any issues so far with the sofa? i read that we need to maintain the leather every 2 or 3 mths for longer lasting. btw, they said the sofa frame is made in msia, assembled in singapore, and leather is italian top grain leather. is that true as what u heard as well? at this moment i can't tell, but my cynical self says for all i know it could be made in china and i also can't verify.anyway, love your blog journey and congrats on a lovely home in the end! Jacky is the one with the specs? quite tall one issit? if so, ya i think he is quite a nice guy and he is also a long-timer there according to my ID.. Hope its also a smooth reno journey for u!! Your house is which project ne?hi there. my wife and i fell in love with the sofa that you use for ur entertainment room when we saw it at the shop the other day! u said love at first sight, we too heh.wondering, whats the difference between your main sofa in living room and this one? we're buying this one as our main sofa instead.also, just to check with you, you mentioned yours is package +2K for additional sofa. As for maintenance, we have the sofas for the last 9 months and the mango sofa still look tip-top but putting in the movie room where i only use turning on the air-con plays a part.. the white main sofa need alot more maintenance but at least i have not observed any flaking yet *keeping fingers crossed*, and its still very comfortable despite we don't have air-con in the living room.. Hope u will make a good buy!!
dazehead 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 thx blurrhino, your reply boost my confidence a bit though i was already sure im getting quality. didnt know aircon plays a part, but most of the time ur entertainment room aircon not on also right?what kinda maintenance do u do on the main sofa? glad to know no need aircon also can, as there was a myth that leather sofa is hot if no aircon

Also, as adviced by species staff, i use leather conditioner every 6 months. i guess it depends on individuals lo, for me if weather is hot n humid, i prefer sitting on the floor rather than on a leather sofa.. BlurRhino 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2011 Almost cannot find my reno thread!! See so many nice renovations here make me feel like renovating my house again.. Anyway hope someone can advise here, i looking for some places where i can customise a small cabinet to store my CDs and blu-rays, which is about 100+ now and still increasing.. Went to those neighbourhood furniture shops, they say they can only allow internal customization but for sizes, its always fixed as they have moulds in the factory (for wood?? ) true or false i also don't know.. went to those "branded" furniture shops, they don't carry media storage.. so far i can only find dedicated storage for media in Howards's world but then it really looks abit out of place in my movie room..So hopefully someone here have knowledge of where i can go for such requirements! But the rain shower is up and i am pleased that the water pressure is great! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /><img src="http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j462/BlurRhino/DSC01088.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />And finally a glimpse of my living room... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><img src="http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j462/BlurRhino/DSC01096-1.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Hi...Mind to share where did you buy yr curtain from? how much yr whole hse? Thanks Hmm curtains is from A-z-o-r-a.. not very cheap though (abt 2k, full length, wall to wall, 3 bedrooms and living room) but overall fuss free and the end products really quite good.. but if you look hard enough you might be able to find better deals elsewhere.
