Bad Experience With Beds.sg - Delivery Delayed For 2 Days

Like to share my experience with Beds.sg. I ordered 3 items and indicated delivery for today between 10am to 2pm. Yesterday, their staff called and confirm for today delivery just that timing wise changed to between 3pm to 5pm. Ok with me as no issue, so long as kept me inform on any changes. Today just before 3pm, the delivery called and inform that they will reach around 5pm. At around 6pm, still no sight and I called the number as displayed on my phone. Mentioned that will be reaching in 10 mins and truth, they reach within 10 mins.

Took delivery of the 3 items and noticed that the laptop table i ordered seems to be slanted. They tried to fix it on the spot and mentioned that installation was actually done by supplier and they just delivered. Took around 15 - 20 mins and the top is still slated. one of the guys said they will go back and check other stock whether they are the same cos it might be designed at a slight angle to fit the hand when using the laptop. He will get his colleague and call me on Monday / tuesday to let me know the outcome... then he only took payment for the other 2, indicate on the order form that payment is for other 2 items which were fine and I keep the laptop table first.

Overall, quite impress with service, though delivery was a bit later.. Part and parcel of delivery process as traffic jams and stuff.. and from other post, my experience is not too bad.. But what really prompt me to post here is that they did not insist on payment for the laptop table and they took initiative to say payment for that can be done later. WOW... never had i experience this before... some other company will just say they only delivery, nothing else, pay full and call their office....

Give me the confidence in this company and order from them in future...

i read up over at beds.sg.....i think i must buy my next furniture from them if i have the chance...their services and reply is what a customer really needs. cheers to beds.sg :)

It has been 1 week since you have received your furniture and you are still actively attacking Beds.sg on this thread and another thread in Beds forum. You even went to the extend of making up stories about our operations. It seems that you are determined to get further compensation.

You see, as what madwarrior72 mentioned, we could not give you the 25% you wanted because it would result in a loss for us. So, from a business standpoint, we can't sell you the furniture.

I believe the frustration and anger you are experiencing now is not due to the fact that your change of delivery date wasn't processed properly. It is because most people responding to your thread here and at Beds forum did not agree with you.

We pride ourselves as being the company that always puts customers first, but nobody or organization is perfect. We make mistakes and we are learning along the way.

From the opinions gathered from this thread and at Beds forum, maximum amount of compensation you should receive is 10%, which is another $130 more. But I know that even if I give you another $130, you would not be happy.

So, this is what I have done for you.

Carlos' dream is to make enough money from their small business to cover his family's daily needs. His plan is to buy more clothes in more popular colours so that they can have more opportunities to increase their sales.

$400 is standing between Carlos and his dream. Carlos managed to raise $270 through kiva.org and is still short of $130. I have just pledged the $130 that I wanted to give you, to help him.

Carlos and his family is very grateful for the money and the chance to provide basic needs for his family.

I hope that you will feel much better knowing that you have given an entire family an opportunity to lead a better life and renewed the hopes and dreams of Carlos.

I've bought my King Size bed from beds.com. manage to get my bed delivered on the day i requested although they were slightly late. I'm a very satisfied customer, mainly cos

1. the convinence and choosing and making orders online in the comfort of home

2. the price is very competitve

3. the design and quality is good, have no complains.

and from this thread i'm truely impressed by how the boss runs the company, really a very patient man, and doing his very best a appease the TS (who is a real terror of a customer from what i see thru the exchanges here). It's obvious that it's a case of human error, and the boss has humbly admitted the mistake and offered a disocunt of $100 plus special delivery timing. yet the TS refuses to move on. It's probably a ego problem lah.

I ordered a King Mattress and a Bed Room Set from Beds.sg, which costed me around S$2300 after full member discount.

I requested the delivery date to be on 6 Nov(Sat), 10am-2pm, I trusted the good feedback from this forum and I thought Beds.sg is really as reliable as what most of you say here. Therefore, I removed my old furniture and mattress just before 10am on 6 Nov.

However, around 11.30am, I received a call from Beds.sg's delivery man, he told me that my delivery will be on 8 Nov (monday), which is 2 days later. I wondered and I told him that my delivery supposed to be today and my printed email copy also showed that the delivery date is today. The delivery man told me that he cannot help me, there is no way he could deliver today.

Therefore, I called the sales rep, and the sales rep admitted that they have make a mistake on the delivery date and there is no way that they can deliver the furnitures to me today.

That means I am going to have nowhere to sleep for 2 nites, my preparation for the furniture to come in and all rushing effort wasted, I got frustratred with the way I am treated, as I buy 2 expensive items from Beds.sg during my first time purchase with them, my trust to them ended up with frustration.

I wanted to cancel the order, however, in my case, I needed the mattress and bed room set urgently and I could not affort to cancel the order. Therefore, I requested for a compensation, I have calculated and the only way they can make me feel happy again is to give me a 25% discount.

The sales rep told me that she will call me back (prehaps after discussion with her boss). After more than 4 hours of wait, the sales rep called again and told me that she can only give me a $30 discount, which is just 1.5% discount more after the 5% full member discount. The $30 is not even enough for me to sleep in hotel 81 for 3 hours.

I felt like being insulted.

I will not buy anything from Beds.sg again as they do not take responsibility with their own mistake.

Seriously, I found this **** buyer is unreasonable.. It is totally ur fault that u throw away ur old mattress. Who told you to sleep on the floor.. No sofa is it.. Come one 2.3 k is a **** small amount... 25 percent discount.. u can dream on lah.. u think the shop is urs... The CEO of Bed.sg personally apologise to you and on air.. still not satisfied... seriosuly.. u are ******* unreasonable.. Being late for delivery had many reasons.. due to traffic or other unforseen consequences.... no stop whinning and live with it... dont be a spoilt brat... people got ricebowl to protect.... so understand...

I just has a very bad experience with beds.sg. I had asked for a delivery today evening before 6 pm. We had no beds and with two little kids I had to have the beds on time. At 5 30 i get a call saying delivery will happen between 6 and 8. We pleaded with the condo security to allow delivery and he agreed. The delivery man calls me at 7 to say he will be here in half an hour. I asked him to give me a call the moment he gets here so that I can come down. He gives me a call at 7 30 and when I go down he has gone back. He answers my call after 30 mins to say that he has driven away as the guard did not allow him inside. He said I should take it up with the company and not him. When I spoke to those at beds.sg they were extremely rude and said these things happen. Now delivery will only happen on 'monday. So 2 days of sleeping on the floor for me and my kids all thanks to ordering from beds.sg.

Huh?? They only compensate $30??? I think they must have took u as beggar...

If I were u, I would have cancel the order if they didnt reduce to the amount I am happy with...

If they promise the delivery date, they shd have do it... If there are any unforeseen situation, is the company problem... not yours... My advise for u is cancel it... order elsewhere... Really hate such company around..

Seriously, I really find the comment u make nonsense... How can u blame the buyer when the seller didnt deliver on time...

If the company didnt deliver on time, it is the seller problem to compensate the buyer or resolve the issue...

$30 is like seeing the buyer as a beggar...

If I were the buyer, i would have cancel immediately the order... Terrible service...

Nv delivery on time then want to settle w a beggar price... There is no way u can blame the buyer for seller fault...

Stupid tread. wasting time issue... Claim airline for delay, claim forwarders for late delivery, claim food serve late... claim everything at you own rights... Hai... life is short, why so piss?? You never know tomorrow never comes... stay cool and live on...hai...
