Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Versus Mitsubishi Electric

Recommended Posts

Will be getting a sys-3 inverter aircon for our new flat. Read it from <http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/aircon_faq> that ranks the aircon brands as follows. Wondering how much it applies in Singapore context. I'm especially interested in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries; any comments from existing users?

Many thanks :)

Top

Daikin Well designed and quiet. Sadly comes at a high price.

Panasonic Again well designed, slightly cheaper but also slightly noisier.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

Actron Air

Hitachi

Fujitsu

Middle

Toshiba

Electrolux Kelvinator

Mitsubishi Electric

Bottom

Homemaker (If you want cool but don't want expense this is the best value option) Add approx $600 for a simple install.

LG

Mistral

Chunlan

Conia

Dimplex

Guess the price says it all. Yes, Daikin is one of the most reliable aircon brands in the market. That's why it qualify for a premium price. Other than Mitsu Heavy Ind, you may wanna check out Mitsu Electric Starmex. Cheaper than Daikin with great performance too. With the inverter, you will save more in the long run. Also, its nicer looking compared to Mitsu Heavy Ind. But if you have the budget to spend, you will not regret getting yourself a Daikin

hi any aircon expect here?? :)

am wondering the FAN mode in the aircon system, is comparable to those normal fan? was thinking since there is already a fan function in the aircon system, will no buy normal fan separately. save on $$ and space...but not sure of the energy consumption? would it be much higher since it runs on big compressor...

anyone care to advice

thanks in advance :D
