delapompe 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2010 Teehee, finally got sometime to upload some images to RenoTalk. As mentioned earlier, we've done about 90% of our purchases of electrical applicances and such.. really too many.. until my mum kbkp haha, my room also full of new stuff now waiting for load and full the new house Panasonic fridge (NR-BW414) that we fell in love at 1st sight. Forget is 3 or 4 ticks lolx.. Anyway it also comes with, - Advanced Inverter Technology - Ag Clean: 99.9% of Bacteria Inactivation - The Vegerator Damaged $799 Actually we're not a LED tv people but really is too good to resist. We bought this LG LED TV (42LE5300) at a very affordable price. Initial was to get a plasma TV for better sub-motion and contrast ratio Damaged $1177 Now, this is the problem we faced. Initially we bought a normal ceiling fan which we thought is alright to fit, however, due to the plaster ceiling we had (too low, tall ppl might get their head executed ), we gave away the normal ceiling fan we bought to in-laws and settle with this one instead Fanco FFM4000 Damaged $115 Since we do not cook often, we initally wanted to settle with Turbo Domino Vetroceramic Hob, however the price ($750) is not that friendly to us. Haha, guess what, in the end we bought our dream hob below Please forgive me! Brandt Domino Induction Hob (2 zone) Damaged $945 Really no study about hood.. So bangwall again, aawww... Anyhow we bought this instead Elba Slimline Hood 60cm Damaged $230 To be continued...
delapompe 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2010 wow, you are doing false ceiling in the kitchen! and cove lights in all the rooms too. Nice! Just a few thoughts -- * is one PLC light in the passage enough? * I suppose u already have an idea how to place the fixtures? Bc that does determine where and how many lighting points. I say this bc for my kitchen, there is not much light coming in. Since we did not do false ceiling and do not want too many trunking to be seen, we can only have one lighting point provided by hdb. For all other areas of the kitchen, I have light from the top hung cabinet, so they do brighten up the area when I work at those worktops. But for the sink area, where I do most work, there is no top hung cabinet, hence no light. Keep seeing my own shadow when I work - very irritating yes, doing cove lights in all rooms hehe.. really lucky, cos our bedroom passageway is short enough and 1 PLC is enuff to brighten the passageway.. whats bc?
