wickaninsh 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2010 I'm staying in AMK, 4 room. Ur toilet can put in the shower screen? Mine only a small one cos got no space. Can the toilet door be swing open with the shower screen there? U might want to take note of that. U mentioned of changing the door. Is it main door? If it is, then must be fire rated if near to staircase (less than 3m away). Get a contractor, save $. Especially if u know the colour scheme which u want. That why i choose PD door, it can fold into halve and swing inwards Shower screen, is not the full length & breath. More like 1/2 - 2/3.... will check with contractor/ID whether workable?????? Would like to have all similiar door, main, bedrooms & storeroom dun think i'm less than 3m from staircase. there 2 unit before me and a corner unit after me Will check on this too.... tks for the info

manutd1972 1 Report post Posted November 2, 2010 Thinking of gething this laminated flooring from Pergostore Maritime OaK (but this is not on offer, but they willing to gives 15% discount) Two questions 1. will it be werid if i only use this in living room and a cheaper one for bedrooms & store room 2. can the stair on the main entrance be laminated? yes, u can use the laminates on the entrance steps. but u need to know this before using it. that portion of the laminate will wear a lot faster and fade and look pale compared to the rest of the floor in the hall. my layout is a little similar to urs, as in, small toilet. but in my case, the master toilet is smaller than the common. in the end, i decided against a shower screen. it would be way too cramped. oh and do not place a WC in a confined corner. u will really not like doing ur business thr. and it's not sth tt u can change easily when u realise it's too cramped to spend time doing business there. just my opinion. my toilet is my "zen" place and i like it as comfortable and luxurious as possible, but alas, my master toilet is too small to do anything nice.
