yaksowmi 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2016 may not be good thing. 1) Now agents advertise no commission from tenants, tenants thought that this is good for them and take it as a norm. There are no one to advise them on the clauses of the Tenancy agreement which is high chance to side with the landlord as only the landlord pays the commission. During or at the end of the tenancy if there are issues, its at the losing ends of the tenants. 2) there are not many agents to serve the tenants, the service standard for tenants will drop tremendously. This will creates more complains, more unhappiness for the tenants and the reputation of Singapore is at risk. In the olden days, owners and tenants do their own tenancy agreement without the agents.
