hmm.... but i already bought my vitroceramic which need 15AMP. i wonder how much i need to pay for my rewiring.

oh.... i see... but i think electrical supply more important inside the flat than lifts that are outside the flat.

i think you should check with electrician if special socket needed for this hob

if cannot use better change to gas asap

oh what i mean is... most pple will find 30 Amp supply more than enough for their usage, so in HDB's eyes, getting the lift upgraded (for the old folks/for pple with babies and children/for general accessibility) is more important than satisfying individual need for higher electrical supply~ (not many pple are not so particular about electrical stuff like us :))

btw, for old flats, HDB permit is required for installing new 15 Amp power point. better make this known to your electrician from the beginning.

yea... and only halfway through my own reno then i started reading the HDB rules and oh man... there are so many things that i dunno cannot do... since you still have some time, better read now~

is your house 85sqm or 92sqm? cos the layout is slightly different ..mine is 85sqm and the fridge is opp the hob :)

mine is 85.

ya, the ID recommend placing it opposite the hob too.

but i thought it will block the walkway to the serviceyard.. :bangwall:

some of the sales person selling me things or when i was looking at things, told me quite a bit too. so i know a bit whether certain things are allowed by hdb or not. and coming here also helped a lot. hehehehe...

i bought the 60cm fridge so still ok.. dont buy fridge that is too huge

i remember another case that the house's instant heaters all spoilt becos the person in the shop claimed that instant heaters can be used with rain shower :fire:

Hi there Marshmallow... my sis experienced tt too, and she was so so mad. I told her to try ID Note, though not a big job, but they did a good job. finally my sis can smile everythin she steps into the shower... lol...
