Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Hi reglxt,

I had gone thru your post from the 1st page till the very last...

Like the design of your house... May i know which ID you are using?

How much is your total cost for doing up the 2 bathrooms, feature wall and wall mount table, false ceiling with lightings ?

I'm getting my key maybe in May 2011... so now looking for quotes for renovations.

Please advise me. Thanks.

Regards,

Ken

are you still facing problem with your setup?

following is my setup for my IP cam model and router (also depends on your broadband provider) .. if still cannot work then bobian liao .. you need to write back to the seller ..

IP Cam Setup

1. Install IP camera software using CD provided

2. Connect IP camera using ethernet cable first

3. Assign a fixed IP to the IP camera instead of using auto assign from DHCP server (I've got a router at home so it depends on your setup)

4. Change default http port on IP camera to anything other than 80, like 90 (I think my ISP blocks port 80 on outgoing ports)

5. Set wireless password and connect it to the wireless network. Remove the ethernet cable once thats done

6. Go into router management page

7. Set DMZ zone as IP camera fixed IP (eg 192.168.0.something)

8. Note your WAN IP address from router status (eg 213.152.52.95)

9. If you want to see your camera from anywhere else, then point your web browser to 213.152.52.95:90 or something like that

Hi reglx,

I did manage to view the web cam over the internet. just that the way i did is different from yours. You are using WAN IP but am using a host (dyndns) to host my cam ip address.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

something to recommend, i tried out following dish washing liquid from ntuc

i can say its very good! there is no soapy residue after rinsing (sometimes if you use normal dish washing liquid can still taste the soap..which is not good for health in the long run) organic, no harmful chemicals everything made from natural ingredients such as lemon

i think its retailing @ 3+ per 1 litre bottle

which ntuc do you go to? the one at blk 67? isn't it a bit far for you to walk? i am thinking i might have to take mrt to city square or else Nex to go ntuc. :(
