gladyslim 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2010 Setting up a factory? Try Hup Hong Machinery. I want to share with you that it is not practical to keep a table saw just for hobby DIY. The machine may cost about $1,500/-, you need different saw to cut different material . The most important thing is; can you handle this saw while cutting, you have to push the plywood against the running saw. At great force, if you are not holding it tight, the plywood bounce back. The noise generated and the saw dust is also a problem. In industrial workshop, dust collecting bag is attached to the machine. this vacuum is to use by mean of air receiver which require MOM license and bi-yearly inspection. It is better to order cut to size plywood from carpentry shop and get a jig saw for minor cutting. Just change the saw blade, you can use jig saw to cut plastic, plywood and stainless steel etc.
