edseah 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2010 I live in CCK and the toilet in the main and master bedroom is kind of unusual. The level of the floor are higher than the master bedroom floor. Last year, I redo the toilet wall and floor tiles, lay the room floor with laminate and seem ok for a year. Some sign that was observed was the lower corner of the toilet door frame is turning brownish. Didn't care much about it until the water seep out to the laminate and it pops. Contractor came to assess, did some water testing and found that potentially the water is seep through some crack. He remove 2 tiles, dig some kind of drain in it, pour this white solution which was supposed to seal the crack. We flooded the toilet floor with water after 3 days (he says next day) and the water still seep through but this time with the water solution. I am lost on what to do and the contractor seems to want to charge me... can he? RGds
zoukbird 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2010 Seems like your contractor didn't do a gd job, u shd try get warranty from him maybe? If he charges u because its out of warranty then maybe can ask him to explain to u in detail what exactly he is doing. If he can't explain it, he himself doesn't know wat he's doing too and he's trying his luck. By then u shd consider someone else.
