Feng shui speaking, there is no such thing as "love corner". Only have areas that is able to support the human relationship. Let me dig some more

edenstrauss 3 Report post Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) The first book I've read by Joey Yap was on face-reading. It was very interesting because there were very clear illustrations that went with his explanations, most were pictures & some were photographs of real people. Joey Yap believes in using facial features to judge a person and claims that it's useful for taking note on how to deal with them. Like for a person whose gums are exposed when they smile, are those who couldn't keep secrets. So never share any confidential or important stuff with them; and these are also not suited in job positions that deals with confidential info or info that is vital to the employer's business. In general, this is true but not for all with such features. An exception lies with a family friend whose gums are exposed when she smiles but she keeps a very professional distance, even with family members & friends, she was intelligent enough to side-step questions that she couldn't answer becox of her position as a MD to a subsidiary of companies. The impression given is that she was very sociable, polite but superficial too. But I did notice that there is still a certain degree of relevance to what he's mentioned in his book. Like those with a receding chin (i.e. the opposite of a protruding chin, means no chin) are very slow in taking action & very slow workers. I realised that was very very accurate. Used to work with a few persons who had such chins, they take eons or "centuries" to get things done! One lady who supervises a team of staff, has a high, protruding forehead & a receding chin (i.e. no chin). Anything that's passed to her, she takes a very long time to make a decision & would be changing mind all the time even after she has given a reply in black & white. Gosh, it was a nightmare dealing with her! U can never get things done while waiting for her ... to make up her mind finally Edited October 7, 2010 by edenstrauss

edenstrauss 3 Report post Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) This was the book that I read & mentioned earlier in this discussion thread: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/9833332048...04JBGG8TYGZB71X While searching through yahoo for the title of his books, I saw that he has other publications on face reading books too like the one below, which I haven't read yet: http://www.masteryacademy.com/estore/itemdetail.asp?iid=580 It shows the contents of the first 8 pages. Quite interesting when he talked abit about Evita Peron's facial features & her skin. Skin texture (condition) is an indication of a person's health condition. Taut skin is probabbly indicative of a drying up of fluids in body so definitely, not a good sign - more of a common sense thing, no need to get an expert to read facial features. Those who are very fit & healthy adults, will have a certain glossy sheen on their skin. Not considered oily but they will have very shiny skin all over their bodies. Ivy1981 11 Report post Posted October 8, 2010 JY's books are much better than LT. Strangely, seems like many things he was targeting at LT. This prove to be not true and that prove to be myths. As for facial, some are accurate, while some are not. Been noticing same moles position on different people but stories unfold differently.......
edenstrauss 3 Report post Posted October 8, 2010 who is LT? I was told by my master that bazi is something that doesn't change whereas facial features & palm lines, shapes would change over time. So he said to use the facial features & palmistry to complement bazi.
muffin 2 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 hi edenstrauss, if i am not wrong, LT refer to Lilian Too. Please correct me if i am wrong. Cheers
Ivy1981 11 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Hihi Yes lor.....LT is the Too famous Lilian lor. Initially, I quite admired her until I discovered many of those things she wrote didn't work. Now think back I'm still finding it amusing to have believed what she wrote. So amusing to have placed crystals here and there, three-legged toads, almost every now and then checking got beams or sharp corners etc and etc. In the end? Most people by now know the stories but still she got many followers.......Sad for them. Heard that she and her husband divorced....anybody know is it true? If so, isn't it contradicts those she wrote about family harmony?
