Oh my, this lady is extremely mentally disturbed. She had her face plastered with some white stuff and was getting violent. The MRT staff should be alerted and she be admitted immediately to IMH. At the rate she is raving mad in the train, she is a threat to anybody's safety as she has a tendency to attack people around her.

Got no sense of shame to be screaming & shouting like that. And she kept shouting "seow" when it's obvious that she's the one whose mentally unsound. Pathetic & stressful for her family members & neighbours who are staying near her.

Whatever that she has gone thru to make her lost her mind, it's important that we humans learn to adapt to a less than ideal environment in this world instead of expecting our surroundings to change to suit our needs. At least, we'll be happier with a stronger mind that's resilient to external issues. Mind power is an extremely important thing for us humans.

I have one poor neighbour staying in another block nearby where he was unlucky enough to stay opposite a unit where the owners had a mentally unsound daughter.

She suffered from post-traumatic disorder after her fiance took off with her $ & didn't turn up during their ROM. She would shout out curses at them & anybody who drops by everyday, including after 9pm. It was worse-off than the lady in the you-tube video as she would wet her pants as she shouted curses while standing at the gate. She asked that poor neighbour & his sons why they were still alive when the rest have already dead; and why don't think jump off the block & die! So unlucky to be cursed after everyday! :(

Once I worked in MRTC, later seconded to SMRT(1987-1992), though not issued with the arrest warrant, like now the Station Masters do, I "catch" and "advise" communters not to drink, eat and to "behave properly" while on train, or even within "paid" areas. It is stated in the SMRT bible-handbook - all employees have expressed or implied duty to ensure stipulated rules being observed & followed by commuters.

Have made one baby cries aloud on train while asked mother to stop feeding milk bottle to baby. All looked at me, face turned red and quickly alight at next stn, the mrt handbook only teach all employees to "catch" & "advise" and "press the button" if necessary, but never teach how to handle baby's cry.

One time caught one office lady eating bread at RFP stn, while waiting train. Camera direct at her somemore. She argued back very kl....brought her to station master. If encounter like the one above, employees should "press the button" and escort her out of the system.

I believe this video is already the topic of the town by now cause I am seeing it everyday like facebook and some other forums too, I think we are living in a stressful society and mental breakdown will just become part of us and it is just how we handle or manage it. For this case she might already hit her limits and just lost control at the very moment, sad for her and her family.

The latest in yahoo news is that her sister, known as Grace is requesting that the public stop criticising her mentally deranged sister & leave her & her family in peace. Very tragic & sad case.

Very sad case indeed.

On the other hand, the family members should also try to restrain her from getting out there. Looks to me a bit violent from her gestures.
