House Facing Between The South And South West Position

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Here is a question that i am facing, like to seek your advice on what you think.

My unit facing is 207deg which is suppose to be facing south west.

Regarding plotting of the fengshui pie chart unto the house.

Should i align both the pie chart and house floor plan to magnetic north? or should I align the floor plan to magnetic north but keep the pie chart align with the south west facing the house facing.

Hi dinobros,

I'm a FS dummy even though I had tried reading up abit about FS. Do you think it's a safer option to engage a FS master instead of auditing your own premises?

My brother inlaw tried to do such stuff like alignment for our matrimonial flat 10 yrs ago. Out of goodwill. But things went wrong for us after that.

So I would like to share with you that unless you're well-versed in FS or one of those with very good destiny who has very strong resilience against any FS "mistakes" or faults. Otherwise, it'll be good to seek the expertise of skillful FS masters.

Please do not misconstrue my comments as be-littling DIY practices becox it's my 2 cents worth of sharing my own personal experience on this info-sharing platform.

Hi bro,

i agree with what you are saying. I think at the end of the day, its something that we cannot save on.

Better to go thru a proper FSM before we do things wrong.

My keys will only come next year as we postponed the 1st appointment until Dec. Meanwhile, trying to find more knowledge before we go to the FSM.

I am a little skeptical and careful when it comes to "professional" such as car salesman, housing agents and so on.

Before I OTP my this unit at Pasir Ris, optioned for a unit at Punggol.

During the viewing done by my gf, the agent says, good unit, good proper family not near rubbish chute so we paid 1k.

But during the 2nd viewing, my mother found a lot of problem with the unit. 1) MBR window beside the Rubbish Chute 2) Electrical Room below the unit 3) 5 years old house but only 1 owner. In the end, we forfeited the amount and the attitude of the agent changed quite drastically.

A little scare of such things. So try to learn as much as I can before we approach a real master. Hopefully can understand more.

Hi dinobros,

Yes I share similar concerns as you too!

You're lucky that you have somebody elderly & experienced (i.e. your mother) to fall back on when you're buying your flat. We weren't as lucky becox the elderly members of my family were all not residing in Singapore when we bought our flat. And, we ended up with a flat that isn't favourable according to many chinese, especially the very "pang-tang" type.

And yes, never ever buy a flat that's above the electrical room!! It's like walking on short-circuits all the time & it's likely that it affects the Qi for the premises, and if indeed that unlucky, the owners & occupiers might face poor health & even great misfortunes. No joke about this.

We know of a lady in our neighbourhood who stays in a flat where the rooms are revolving around the lift. The Qi is very unstable & the female owner (i.e. the lady) always falls sick & the family is very quarrelsome, they fight among themselves very often. All r extremely hot-tempered, impatient & poor listeners.

And it's a wise choice that U're trying to find out more & learn abit about FS first before engaging anybody to audit your flat. Agents can't be trusted: their responsibility is to sell as many properties & earn their commission. So you've really got to judge on ur own.

But if your facing is South-west, I think that's a popular choice among many Chinese. As to whether it suits you & your spouse or not, it really depends on your bazi-s.

If you require any recommendations for FS masters, please let me know. I could PM you mine: tried & tested by myself & friends with established track records; we compared with other FS masters whom we have also tried before, or on impulse and still preferred this one becox he's very skillful by Singaporean standards.

Dinobros, I encourage your learning spirit, keep it up!. Just interested to know "how" you get the 207 deg. From "centre" of house to main door? Or just purely stand in from of door, read from an ordinally compass? N=0,360. start clockwise from N(0) to E(90), S(180), W(270), N(360)? Or from a Luopan with the RED needle (pointing SOUTH)then south = 0 deg.
