paulchng 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2010 week 3 of our reno... the tiling is already done for the living room, toilet and bathroom..went down to see today...we are absolutely delighted! am so glad that the tiling work is great and the colours blend in exactly like how we wanted....really happy... some pics to share... Living room floor tiles...the pics dont do justice to the tiling work and the grains of the tiles....really happy with how it turned out Kitchen floor tiles....we absolutely love this! we were so happy to see the end product.... Bathroom tiles...mosaic is up already Toilet Tiles...we love the black textured wall tiles... all in all a very happy day today, really glad with the progres...looking forward to the next phases of the reno...to be updated Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

paulchng 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) Day 24 The plastering works have been completed.....Today's job was to do the water piping, installation of Storage Heater and the Air con installation....... Some pics of the Aircon installation done by Gain City, quite a good job, not much exposed trunking esp in the living area..surprised how small and compact the Toshiba Aircon is.. Living/Dining Area MBR Common Room Snapshot of Water piping done for the Shower Area More pics to follow this weekend.... The false ceilings are all up, had some issues with the height of the kitchen false ceiling, had to remove everything and redo again, with additional cost but....really glad with the end result......next phase would be the capentry...... some pics of the progress, pardon the blurry pics, think the camera lens wasnt so clean haaa. Dining Area false ceiling and wall...deep purple..... Living room console gypsum wall... MBR wall and slanted feature wall for the TV console.... Did you installed the philips easy scene light bulbs as well? Cute baby alpha. I have some issues with the fans, it's wobbling at high speed, did you experience this? Where did you purchase the brackets from btw? Looking fwd to see you highclass WC Our Alpha baby fan for the baby room.....like the colorful look of it..hmm but light is a bit dim though... Looking fwd to see you highclass WC Thanks dude...as posted earlier, not experiencing wobbling, think its becoz its a baby version and its pretty slow so its ok..... i dont think mine are the philips ones....but we were concerned that the area would not be bright enuff, so we gotten larger downlights....i really like the ones in the kitchen esp.... the WC is up next week, am looking forward too haaa. btw saw some sneak preview of ur kitchen cabinets in progress, looking to see how it'll look too ya, rem to post more pics of those........
