For your last 2 photos, is that your washing machine pvc tube? (water out)?

Seem like it is abit high...and when you place the wm host onto the tube, might afraid the water will not be able to flow out.

That's the kitchen sink drainpipe…wm drainpipe is behind the wall…also it's high, so yes, need to cut away excess height also.

I am alittle confused.. can we ask the contractor to lower the drainpipe to accomodate the wm pipe? Cos I am using back my old machine so I am afraid I might not be able to figure it out myself.
