Reasonable Mark-up For Concealing Aircon Piping

hi, can i know what is the estimated rate for concealing aircon pipings

eg if the aircon model cost $2.9k @ gaincity (include installation without concealing)

if the contractor quote additional $1.5k for exactly the same model, but with all pipings consealed

is it reasonable?

in the end i went ahead with the amount quoted, since my ID introduced him so more likely he won't cut corner...

managed to get him to absorb GST though...
