Ely 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2010 Hi all, This is my first post after trolling many, many, many pages of renotalk, and it's been quite a experience. I was just wondering if the current Asia Pacific Furniture Fair offers the best deal, particularly for a mattress? I had my eye on a King-sized Dunlopillo bed, which was $14K (promo). I am, of course, now looking at something much humbler. How about a Seely Kingsbury (king-sized) at $5468? Is that a steal, or should I hold out for a warehouse sale, or another alternative? TIA! silverfins 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2010 Is the Kingsbury king size? Price was $5888 at one of the expos in January/Feb. Try to bargain down a little more - the prices are quite negotiable. Yes, I bought the Kingsbury!

Yes, I bought the Kingsbury! I was quoted $5468 for the King size, with the usual free 2 pillows + protector. How is the feel of the bed still? Would you recommend it? I thought it was heavenly, as I love plush feeling beds, the kind that makes you feel ensconced in fluffiness!

I thought it was heavenly, as I love plush feeling beds, the kind that makes you feel ensconced in fluffiness! I haven't gotten the bed yet coz moving in end of the month only. But I agree - the bed was super comfy! It felt like the ad on TV - didn't feel like getting up after lying on it. That's the reason why I bought it. I had a "best price guarantee" when I ordered, which means if I can find a cheaper deal for the mattress anytime before they deliver, I will be given the lower price. Ask for this when you buy! I'm going down to the expo today to confirm delivery and get the 'better price'!
