xicloudix 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2010 My room is stuffy and hot nowadays due to wind change.... my baby can't stand it... wondering to buy a air cooler (every one i ask told me its not useful at all) or should i buy a ventilatiing fan to suck out the hot air??? forgotten 1 Report post Posted August 28, 2010 (edited) I recommend you to buy a big standing fan with mental blades instead of aircooler. Mental blades produce stronger wind than plastic blades. Yes I also find aircooler useless like your friends. We had an aircooler, it was a waste of money. Our standing fan's price is only 1/3 of our aircooler's price, yet it offers twice its coolness. Andymion 1 Report post Posted August 30, 2010 I had an aircooler once too. Not good at all. When you test at the stores it feels good cos there's aircon in the stores! I also find that buying a powerful is better though i think those metal blades kind quite dangerous those the gaps in the metal gilles are bigger.
