matrix0405 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2010 I have sliding window grills for my windows, which i wld like to remove some of them for a better view. I tried to lift the grills out of its housing brackets but there was not enough clearance for me to just take it out. Can these grills be taken out DIY? Is there somethingelse i need to do before lifting the grills out? Thanks.

hihihi 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2010 of coz u can't lift the grills out of the bracket, otherwise thefts can also do the same, defeats the purpose. they'll slot in the the grill, then either rivet or screw-in at the corners. look for plastic covers. Before that, unscrew & remove whole frame or housing bracket from window.. Edited August 26, 2010 by bepgof
