rach_lr 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 My bathroom is quite small (actually we miscalculated the shower area), but we wish to put those mount to top of the solid surface kind of basin. So need to do a cabinet. Now the only space left is above the drainage, and it's in between the toilet bowl and the shower screen i.e. no walls to support the solid surface as well. my tiles are all done. and hubby says not good to have cabinet above the drain in case the drain choke and it's hard to do work there. Any advice?
hihihi 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 if u have trap installed to capture hair and whatever flowing into the drain, I would say it is pretty difficult to choke a drain.
Amy Choon 1 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 I had that in my previous place. The drainage is just below my suspended vanity cabinet. For 8 years, we don't have any problem at all. And my bathroom is just like yours, vanity cabinet in between shower screen and the toilet bowl. And as per hihihi, it's not easy to choke a drain.
