i have an ikea kitchen with red gloss doors. 1 year no problems, still looks nice and new.

I'm using crystal glass door. Haven't moved in, so not sure yet. Should be ok if seldom cook. :-P

it's not abt loosing its glossy, but glossy surface will show up any uneven-ness very easily.

if your wood backing (i.e the inside wood) is a tiny weenie uneven, u'll see it wavy.
