sanntan 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2010 (edited) Congrats!.. rem to upload pics huh.. Hope everythin goes sui sui.. What is the things going to be done for $19K? include bed feature walls and consoles some more.. Aiyoh.. itchy backside... want to make the flat look nicer! anyway I saw... design and fabricate bed feature wall each = about $600! anyway... here's ROUGHLYwhat we have decided so far. Design and fabricate (build): Shoe cabinet to fit small recess area @ foyer 2 x Settee with storage abt 8 feet total (one in kitchen dining, one for shoe wearing) 3 x wardrobe (6ft x 2, 10ft x 1) (3 bedrooms) Study cum dressing table with shelving Simple feature walls for all three bedrooms Simple feature wall for tv console Hacking of some part of kitchen walls and replacing tiles with something more modern Supply 8 colors of paint and painting for whole flat Changing of toilet bowls (or toilet seats since it's still quite new and nice) Installation of 2 sinks in bathrooms (or 2 sink-cabinets) Installation of new mirrors in bathrooms Change rubbish chute Overlay of tempered glass in certain areas of the kitchen Plus and minus power points - wiring Changing of lights As we are not hacking the floors it is cheaper... :-) ANYWAY! Shopping update. Went back to Englander to buy another Q sized bed... Same storage frame but in black for my brother, and he got a better mattress...! $2500. Bought: WMF knife set @ $99/- WMF Peeler @ $20 COMEX Items bought are... LG 32" LCD 32LD330 - $499 Sony BDP-S370/BM Blu-Ray DVD Player - $279 (free Michael Jackson Gift Pack, $30 Blu-Ray Movie Voucher and free Final Fantasy Blu-Ray Movie, free HDMI cable) Samsung LA40C530 40" HD LCD - $799 + $155 (2 years extended warranty) = $954 Also, here is a very nicely done up design layout done by Andy on our 2nd meeting with him. here is the coffee table we have decided from Furniture Club. we decided to change away the dining chairs to this. sanntan 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2010 hi sanntan nice layout! one question - will you be separating dining and kitchen area? The kitchen cabinets will be dividing the kitchen into two... So yup I guess you could say that. They'll be in the same room though, if you know what I mean.

sanntan 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2010 Met up with Andy to take a look at the first 3D proposed drawings and choose our laminates~! Time draws near... Foyer: We wanted the cabinet to be built higher into the recess area... Going to have to change that. Living Room: We are going to implement shelving on both sides of the feature because we just have so many books and DVDs! Settee for dining room: Just what we wanted... Perfect! We will be changing the tiles as well, to do away with the conventional white square ones.
sanntan 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2010 MBR wardrobe and study table cum make-up table with pull up mirror: Our theme for this room will be Tiffany Blue. Bedroom 2: As this will be mum's room, we have decided to keep it to a neutral, light tone. But we will be changing the color of the wardrobe frame to dark brown to sync with the rest of the furniture. Bedroom 3: Brother's proposed wardrobe with display shelving at the side. Big headache. He is so fussy! Hahha... He wants a black/maroon/white kinda fusion concept. Going to have to meet ID up again to talk about the colors and design for him. BlurRhino 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2010 wow! your 3d pics looks very good! n your dining area/kitchen layout is very unique! Just one thing do you really want to implement shelving beside your feature wall in hall? coz i think right now the design is very clean n nice then by adding those dvds and books beside, will it looked very cluttered? Thanks! I intend to put covered shelves with solid doors. Maybe sliding ones if we can afford it. So we can slide and hide if we want.

I like ur dining area in the kitchen.
