bobztoise 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2010 (edited) hi! congrats on ur 5 rm! so much more spacious than my 4 rm... I also just got my keys and aiming to be done in Jan 2011! So ya, quite sad that some items in the home i simply cannot wait. anyways just to check with you, how did u find everjoint and mega discount? i've never heard of those in my life. are they popular and reliable too? cos i've already bought my big items but looking for good deals for smaller appliances. thanks! maybe it would be better if you share which items you are looking for Everjoint has the cheapest quote for the items i checked and that was just via phone apparently, the price can go lower when you want to confirm purchase when you go down the downside is only cash payment Everjoint Electrical Trading 159 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 #01-534 6458 2531 as for Mega Discount, the sales staff run individual sales targets so they can cross sell you across their entire range (i.e. you can buy TV, washer, oven all from same person; the more items, the better to negotiate) you can even provide the lowest quote you got and ask them to match (though some of them may not match) i did not take from them as different sales person within the same store recommended me different items (a clear indication that certain brands paid more commissions) so i did not get the feeling that they were recommending in my interest Edited December 20, 2010 by bobztoise

bobztoise 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2010 PD Door need some advice on this went to Balestier branch about 2 weeks back prices range from $299 (before GST) for the most basic acrylic model to $399 for the glass model was told prices apply up to 900mm and top up required for entrances wider than that as more materials required went to Eunos outlet today (apparently they supply the doors for Balestier to retail) prices quoted were the same however, ONLY apply to widths up to 800mm for width above 800mm to 900mm, price is $449 before GST but can choose glass so hope to hear if anyone has anything good to say about this for reference, a similar bi-fold door is $180 before GST inclusive of installation
