Reno For 1 Bedder. Is This Feasible? How Much?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. Never done any renovation after staying in the same place for more than 3 years.

The size is a petite 657 sq ft.

The original plan is as follow.

I would like to have the following done.

4879356089_5c2a9c3fd9_b.jpg

The existing kitchen will still be kitchen. The existing bedroom will become living room. The wall between kitchen and new living room will be hacked. The flooring will be all homogenous tiles.

The existing living room will become bedroom. I want to do wooden platform. I intend to use the existing laminate flooring that is still in good condition. The wall between bedroom and living room will be hacked. Install translucent panels (2 pcs) as divider between the two spaces.

In the new bedroom, there will be a panel in the middle that can be closed when there is guest staying over. Maybe four pcs of panel.

In the bathroom, the bathtub to be removed. The bathroom door will be moved to where the bathtub is.

In the kitchen, redo the kitchen cabinet. Install a bar counter that has built in hobs and a sink. The counter bar must be able to sit four. I intend to move the dryer and washer into the kitchen, probably hiding inside the bar counter. The balcony will be my dog's pad.

I don't intend to do any false ceiling. There is false ceiling in the kitchen currently. I would like to remove if possible.

I don't intend to do any tv cabinet for the living room. I have existing solid wood console in good condition.

That's about it. I appreciate any feedback on whether this is a good design, the rough guide on the costing.

Any contractor or designer would like to give me a quote is good too.

Thanks all. :)
