Thanks need to check the condition of the flooring... also if the previous owner already overlaid one layer w/o hacking, i dun think u can overlay the third layer w/o hacking... Thanks think is best to get your contractor to determine if the existing flooring can be overlaid, tho most of the time they will want u to hack and relay for commercial reasons.... ;p Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JDG 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 It's possible to overlay but can affect skirting and create drop down into rooms off the hallway, which is typically done for bathrooms only. If you ever re-sell it may be obvious to potential buyer that you overlay, which will be added cost if they plan to reno. PM me if you want an evaluation.
