Advisable To Overlay Homogeneous Tiles For Hall Area ?

Hi.

Need some advice. Isit recommended to overlay Homogeneous Tiles over ceramic tiles for Hall Area instead of Hacking ? Gotta Budget problem ! Thanks

need to check the condition of the flooring... also if the previous owner already overlaid one layer w/o hacking, i dun think u can overlay the third layer w/o hacking...

Thanks. The previous owner did not do a overlay ! Condition of the tile seems good...any idea what i must watch out for if i do a overlay ? Thanks

think is best to get your contractor to determine if the existing flooring can be overlaid, tho most of the time they will want u to hack and relay for commercial reasons.... ;p

It's possible to overlay but can affect skirting and create drop down into rooms off the hallway, which is typically done for bathrooms only. If you ever re-sell it may be obvious to potential buyer that you overlay, which will be added cost if they plan to reno.
