I should need the locks in October and have changed my requests from F100 to F10. I would like to do something more unconventional (ie lock set without handles). Hope it is okay with you.

How about if the battery forgotten to replace despite warning, can it be open without damage

The low battery warning is going to warn at least weeks ahead. In the event of no battery, u still can use a 9 V battery to operate the keylock from outside.

Mid oct should not be an issue. Pay upon installation.
