thattrader 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 Being a copycat, and starting my own tblog... This is the floorplan of the resale flat I just bought 5I. It is urgently in need of renovation, as the seller rented the place out to at least 10 tenants at last count. <center> <a href="http://s814.photobucket.com/albums/zz67/thattrader/?action=view¤t=FloorplanforID.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz67/thattrader/FloorplanforID.jpg" border="0" alt="floorplan"></a><br /><br /> </center>
thattrader 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 I am not sure if i uploaded the link to the pictures correctly, hope u guys can see. Anyway, we have been searching for IDs and we have been quoted by the following companies: 1. Sense Ideas Design P/L 2. Plush Conceptz 3. KoongYee Renovation Works P/L I am still waiting for quotes from: 4. Interior File 5. Ideal Design I contacted a few trusted contractors to do the job but unfortunately they are all busy till end September. I will be collecting my keys on the 18 Aug. Due to me mum's Geomancer requirements, we need to do a "ceremonial" moving by 19 September, hence I would like at least the flooring to be done by then. Too soon? thattrader 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 Hi Welcome to RT!! enjoy ur reno journey... Hey.. I am from Serangoon Nth too!! ... from ur flr plan ... r u at the blk 500+?? I'm at ave 1 side... thanks. Yeaps i will be at 500+. It looks like a quiet neighbourhood, that is why I chose this place. The problem I have with my current place is that there is just too much noise in the day time, I trade American hours, and the noise at my block (Ang Mo Kio) is relentless. They are upgrading the park and the lifts in the opposite blocks, so i have been inundated with construction noise. And during the rare occasion when there is no construction works, hokkien karoake, malay weddings, toaist funeral wakes or kids running around will fill the airwaves. I think i will stop my ranting here...

ossify 1 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) no wonder you are call "that trader"... so you trading full time? in stks or other instruments? tried trading us mkts but gave up after a few mths cos my whole world kena turn upside down... Based on his blog, looks like he trades ES futures and Gold futures. I may be wrong I would say it's full time although usually you don't need to sit there and stare at the screen once you enter a position. Perhaps on average 3-4 hours per day(night)? thanks ossify, helpful as always. Most welcome Edited July 29, 2010 by ossify
thattrader 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 no wonder you are call "that trader"... so you trading full time? in stks or other instruments? tried trading us mkts but gave up after a few mths cos my whole world kena turn upside down... Yes it is real hard work, never worked so hard in my life. And ossify is right, my favourite instruments are Eurostoxx 50, ES, Gold and AUD futures. Taking a 2-3 months break to go for a holiday and taking a hands on approach to renovation.
